Ok, cool! So when's the rocksmith update due, so i can rock along some 'tallica tunes with my theremin?

KittyhawkMontrose responds:

We have to finish the Amiga port first. :D

I hope you're open for some constructive feedback, cos i can see that a lot of work has gone into this.
- I feel like you need juicier movement - think of acceleration and inertia - and shooting. The muzzle flash of that base gun is confusing, the projectile is irritatingly slow, lacks punch. sound is one major reason for that. is it intentional that i have a lot of guns on number keys from the start?
- the level structure is an interesting touch, but map layouts have dead ends that make you (slowly) backtrack tediously. left-over enemies are not pointed out, i have no idea what to do and where to go at times.
but all that stuff can be fixed. keep it up, appreciate how you're going for something of your own here and kudos for what you achieved up to here.

funsomegames responds:

Thanks for the feedback. These are all great points.

Great one! Charming low-fi art style and difficulty is well tuned.
Didn't really get the point of some of those weapons (didnt see your manual below ..) but still enjoyed myself :)

Extar responds:

Glad you appreciated the difficulty curve, it's hard catering to people who might not have played a shmup before whilst still giving a bit of a challenge for the veterans. The different weapons are there to give a few different ways to play. You can focus upgrades on just one weapon, or spread them around. Thanks for the review!

Great effort put into this one, really nice! Customization, sound, dialogue, can appreciate that.
I second the notion that it starts off too slow, taking control away during dialogue is also kinda bothersome.
But all that is a matter of tuning. Think you got a great game there, should be polished to a shine! Good luck!

Kitadashi responds:

Thank you for your feedback! 🍀 I'll be working on some changes in future updates.

Nice idea, nice execution .. pun intended.
I feel this isnt entirely random, some onboarding going on perhaps?

larrynachos responds:

The single player is entirely random. The gun odds are as such:

If random(0,gunodds) = gunodds -> die

First I was like .. nah! Then the puzzles picked up and I was like .. oh yeah!
So, yeah ...

raulmorenotamayo responds:

Happy you liked it!

This is brilliant :)

For what it's worth; music is crackling, like it's slightly distorting, not sure why that is.

GabeMalk responds:

Thanks! And the music crackling is most likely a weird bug with chrome...

Really impressive, especially the editing and sharing functionality!

Prox276 responds:

Thank you! :)

Really cool mechanic! Love the way you translated the limited vision range into a 2d mechanic.
The controls feel like they could be a bit more streamlined; also would love to aim/zoom with the mouse.

speed8327 responds:

thanks for the super awesome feedback. And on 'Ruffle:Another Mission" part 2, the aim/zoom controller will be from mouse and will be more user friendly ... and more awesome features will be included.
